Happy first day of summer, everyone! We hope everyone has been enjoying the break from school so far. We wanted to post a quick update to let everyone know that the Performing Arts Parents have three different fundraising opportunities to take advantage of this summer:
- We’ll be running the Brat Stand at Festival Foods on Steffens Court on on the East Side (the one next to Menards, NOT the one on University Ave) next weekend – Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29. We’re looking for student and parent volunteers. If you’re around and able to pick up a shift, please click here and sign up. If you can’t work but want to contribute, please come out and pick up a delicious brat between 9AM – 5PM on those days. Hope to see you there!
- On Friday, July 25 at 6:35 PM, the Green Bay Rockers take on the Lakeshore Chinooks. When you buy your tickets through this link, $7 from each sale goes straight to the East High Performing Arts Parents—and you’ll score a free Green Bay Rockers hat at the game! Grab your seat, cheer on the Rockers, and help our performers shine. We’ll see you there!
- This is a year-round fundraiser, but it’s worth mentioning again. We’ve been running our Raise Right fundraiser for nearly a year now. It’s easy to use and money goes directly to the student accounts and Performing Arts Parents. RaiseRight allows customers to purchase gift cards (both physical and electronic) with a portion of the purchase going to a fundraising program. The amount that RaiseRight pays to East Fine Arts depends on the brand. Then, of the amount that East Fine Arts receives, 80% of that money goes into your student’s account with East Fine Arts, and the other 20% goes into the East Fine Arts general fund. The money in each student’s account will help pay for things that the students need, such as trips, apparel, supplies, summer camps, etc.
